REFLECTION:
In this project I have shared twelve photos that I have taken in school and out of school. Some I decided to shoot in my backyard because I have a huge area of woods and nature. Some others such as the wood chips and stair case I had shot at my elementary school in Berkley. Then the rest I decided to take at the school such as the wooden sticks , the chairs on the desk, window panel, rock pebbles, close up of the leaves, wired protection plant and also the wooden table. Each photo I wanted to get a different view on things , not just the regular height snapshot. For example the picture of the grass and wooden pebbles I got on the ground and took a shot from the level of the ground. For the sky picture i pointed it completely upwards , and most of the other pictures I would bend down a little bit so the photograph would look more level. The photos that I took were nature based and more simplistic on shape and line. I wanted the more pretty basics of nature and leaves to show the real essence of the photo. My distance in the shots were more closer up to show the real detail and line in the photo rather than shooting from far away and it not being as obvious. Most of my photos i took were horizontal because i wanted it to be more spread out below because I took pictures of multiple objects together scattered at the bottom. The stair case I took vertical because I shot from the bottom step and up to lead on the reader , not showing them what the stair case leads to. I did not consider the rule of thirds in any of my photos . I felt I didn't have to use the rule of thirds due to what I was shooting. I believe the best photo that represents dynamic composition would be the wooden pellets in the playground. I think it has some lines and trees in the back so it's not all zoomed up on the wooden pellets, and the slide of blue adds color into the readers eye when looking upon the photo. This is how i shot these photos for the project of line and shape.
